This is a list of original source books by author that had major influence in the 19th to the Architecture of North Carolina. This list is focused on those technical and trade books that are known to have been owned, used, or commonly available to 19th Century architects, builders and carpenters in North Carolina.  I welcome additional suggestions and additions to this list.
